CSM Brian L. Marone assumed responsibility of the 404th Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) on 10 September 2017. CSM Marone’s previous service and assignments include service in the USMC from January 1993 to January 1997 and entered the United States Army on April 11, 1997. He completed Boot Camp at Paris Island, SC. and AIT at Redstone Arsenal, Al. CSM Marone has held various leadership positions to include: Team Leader, Squad Leader, Ammunition Sergeant, Battalion Ammunition Manager, Ammunition Section Sergeant, Drill Sergeant Platoon Sergeant, Division Ammunition Manager, First Sergeant, DMC SGM, Battalion CSM, and is currently the 404th Brigade CSM.
His stateside assignments include: 15th BSB 2d ABCT 1CD, FT. Hood, TX.; DMC, ASC RIA, Illinois; The United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 63, FT. Bliss, TX.; Alpha Company, 115th BSB, 1st HBCT, 1CD; 1CD HQs G-4, Bravo Company DHHB; Echo FSC, 2nd BN 8th Calvary Regiment, 1CD; Alpha Company and Delta Company, 2nd Battalion 47th Infantry Regiment, FT. Benning, GA; HHC and Alpha Company, 15th BSB, 2nd HBCT, 1CD, FT. Hood, TX. His overseas assignments include: 3rd Marine Division, Okinawa, Japan; 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, CA; 41st Ordnance Company and 23rd Ordnance Company, 191st Ordnance Battalion, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
His military schools and education includes all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development System to include Drill Sergeant Course, and First Sergeant Course, BN/BDE Pre-CMD/CSM, and CSM Development Programs. He has a Bachelor’s of Professional Studies in Business Management from Excelsior University.

SGM Marone is married and they have three Children.
