Command Sergeant Major

CSM Fu H. Pi assumed the duties as Command Sergeant Major of the 406th Army Field Support Brigade June 2018. CSM Pi entered the United States
Army in 1992 from Costa Mesa, CA.  He attended basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO then attended Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Lee, VA as
Petroleum Supply Specialist (77F).

CSM Pi’s assignments consist of serving with 2/229 Attack Helicopter Regiment as a 77F at Ft. Rucker, AL;  Squad Leader with 26th Quartermaster
(QM) Company, 16th Corps Support Group, 3RD Corps Support Command (COSCOM), Hanau, Germany;  Platoon Sergeant with HQ/A Co and as the
Operations Sergeant with 82D Forward Support Battalion (FSB), 82nd Division Support Command (DISCOM), Ft. Bragg, NC;  Observer Controller (OC) with
Eagle Team, Operations Group (OPS GRP), Ft. Irwin, CA;  First Sergeant with 267th QM Company, 240th QM Battalion, 49th Group, Ft. Lee, VA;  Petroleum Supply Sergeant with G4, XVIII Airborne Corps, Ft. Bragg, NC;  General Supply Sergeant Major with G4, 82nd Airborne Division;  Command Sergeant Major for 307th Brigade Support Battalion (BSB), 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, NC.  Prior to assuming responsibility of the 406th AFSB, CSM Pi was the Observer Coach/Trainer (OC/T) at Task Force Sustainment, OPS GRP, JRTC, Ft. Polk, LA.

CSM Pi has completed all noncommissioned officer education from Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC) to United States Army Sergeant Major Academy (USASMA).  He also completed Air Assault and Airborne School, Jumpmaster Course, Air movement Operations Course, and Battle Staff Course. He has completed his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.

 CSM Pi has been awarded numerous awards and decorations including the Bronze Star w/1OLC, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal w/ 2OLC, the Army Commendation Medal w/1SOLC, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with 1SOLC and 2/OLC, the Joint Meritorious Unit Citation, the Valorous Unit Award, the National Defense Service Medal w/1OLC, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/2BS, the Iraq Campaign Medal w/2BS, the Non-Commissioned Officers Development Ribbon w/”4” Device, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Ribbon w/”4” Device, and the NATO Medal. His badges include the Air Assault Badge and Master Parachutist Badge, and Drivers Badge w/Mechanic and Driver tabs. 

CSM Pi has one son.
