Senior Enlisted Advisor

Master Sergeant Isaias Villanueva serves as Senior Enlisted Advisor of the 402nd Army Field Support Battalion, headquartered at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, a position he has held since 07 August 2018. A native of Arecibo, Puerto Rico he entered the Army in January 2000. He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and also attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

His military and civilian education includes the Senior Leaders Course, Logistics Assistance Program – Operations Course, Operational Contracting Support Course, Support Operations Course, Joint Armorers Course, Joint Logistics Course, Global Command and Control System – Army (Operator Course) and the Career Education Program level 1 Joint Fundamentals Course. He also has an Associate in Applied Science in Administrative and Management Studies from Excelsior College and a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business and Management from Excelsior College.

MSG Villanueva’s awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), Army Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award(1 OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (1 silver knot ), National Defense Service Medal (1 Service Star), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (1 star), Iraqi Campaign Medal (2 Stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army NCO Professional Development (Numeral 3) , Armed Forces Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal (Numeral 3), Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge and he is a recipient of the Samuel Sharpe award.
