Senior Enlisted Advisor

Sergeant Major Thipphawan Grant assumed the duties as Senior Enlisted Advisor of the Army Field Support Battalion – Germany September 2019.  She entered the
active military service on February 17, 1995.  She attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and attended Advanced Individual Training at Aberdeen
Proving Ground, Maryland.  Upon graduation she was awarded the MOS 63J, Quartermaster Equipment Repairer. 

SGM Grant served as a squad leader, section chief, platoon sergeant, senior mechanic, motor sergeant, Basic Leader Course instructor/writer, Advanced
Individual Training platoon sergeant, maintenance control supervisor, battalion senior maintenance supervisor, and first sergeant.  Her previous assignments
include: 263rd Maintenance Company, Fort Hood, Texas; 61st CSMT DS Company, Camp Kyle, Korea; 4th Forward Support Company, Fort Hood, Texas; 302nd Combat Sustainment, Camp Casey, Korea; 2-3rd  Aviation,  Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia; 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, Hunter Army Airfield; 632nd Combat Support Company, Fort Stewart, Georgia; 473rd Quartermaster Company, Hunter Army Airfield; Bravo Company, 16th Ordnance Battalion, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland; Bravo Company, 16th Ordnance Battalion , Fort Lee, Virginia; 3rd Armament Support Troop, Fort Hood, Texas; III Corps NCO Academy, Fort Hood, Texas; 703rd Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia; 1SG E Company, 1-76th Field Artillery, Fort Stewart, Georgia; 1SG F Company 1-9th Field Artillery, Fort Stewart, Georgia; 1SG 520th Maintenance Company, 194th Combat Support Battalion, Camp Humphreys, Korea, and 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia.  SGM Grant deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn, and to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  

SGM Grant’s military and civilian education include: the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence (USASMA, Class 069), Commander/First Sergeant Course, Small Group Instructor Training Course; Basic Instructor Course; Motor Pool Operations/Management Course; Senior Leaders Course; Advanced Leaders Course; Basic Leaders Course; AIT Platoon Sergeant Course; Master Driver Trainer Course; Maintenance Supervisor Course; Battle Staff Course Air load Planners Course; Unit Prevention Leader Course; Combat Lifesaver Course; and Unit Armorer Course.  Her civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in technical management and a Master of Science degree in management – human resource management.

SGM Grant has two children.
