Command Sergeant Major Sean Miller assumed the duties as Command Sergeant Major of the 407th Army Field Support Brigade November 2019. He is a native of Miami, Florida, and entered the U.S. Army on 18 May 1995. He completed Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Advanced Individual Training at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, as a 63J, quartermaster and chemical repairer. He later attended AIT at Fort Lee, Virginia, as a 92A, automated logistics specialist.
CSM Miller’s assignments and duty positions includes Headquarter and Headquarters Company (HHC), 3/69th Armor Battalion, 24th Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia, as a quartermaster and chemical repairer and unit PLL Clerk; Delta Company, 123rd Main Support Battalion, Baumholder and Dexheim, Germany, as a materiel control accountability NCO and Class IX Warehouse NCOIC; HHC, 52nd Heavy Combat Engineer Battalion as shop office NCOIC and 43rd Area Support Group as support operations supply and Services NCO, material management NCO, platoon sergeant, and Brigade Equal Opportunity advisor, Fort Carson, Colorado; Hotel Company, 244th Quartermaster Battalion as an AIT platoon sergeant and first sergeant of Papa Company, 266th Quartermaster Battalion, Fort Lee, Virginia; 501st Sustainment Brigade as the operations logistics NCO and first sergeant of 551st Inland Cargo Transfer Company, 498th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Camp Carroll, Korea; 26th Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia, as the battalion operations sergeant; 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany, as the G-3 senior logistics operations sergeant major and senior logistics support operations SGM; command sergeant major of the Special Troops Battalion, 25th Sustainment Brigade, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and the 6th Battalion CSM for 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade.

CSM Miller also graduated from the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class #64), Fort Bliss, Texas.CSM Miller has a bachelor’s degree in management studies with a minor in human resource management from the University of Maryland, and a master’s of business administration degree with a concentration in human resource management from Excelsior College.
