Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Azzone assumed the duties of commander at the Army Field Support Battalion-Bliss in August 2022.
LTC Azzone received his commission in 2001 as a quartermaster officer from the University of Mississippi Reserve Officers' Training Corps program. LTC Azzone’s military education includes the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course, and the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course.
His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Science in supply chain management from the University of Kansas.

LTC Azzone is a native of Richland, Mississippi. He is married and has two children.
