MSG Joseph Robinson Jr.

Senior Enlisted Advisor

MSG Robinson enlisted as an mechanic in the U.S. Army on May 22, 1987, in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

Upon graduation, he was assigned to 3rd Army in Fort Gillem, Georgia. His most previous assignment was with 4th LOGCAP Battalion, Statham, Georgia, as the senior enlisted leader. Previous assignments include: senior administrative operations noncommissioned officer in charge, 84th Training Command, Birmingham, Alabama; observer controller trainer, 2nd Battalion, 311th Regiment, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; first sergeant ,1015th Maintenance Support Company, Fort. Gillem; Transportation NCOIC, 2nd Battalion, 346th Regiment, (Combat Support/Combat Service Support) Camp Shelby, Mississippi; Headquarters and Headquarters Company platoon sergeant, 1015th Maintenance, Forest Park, Georgia; 431st Civil affairs team NCOIC, Baqubah, Iraq; 317th Combat Engineers, Maintenance team chief, Fort Benning, Georgia; wheel and track recovery operator, 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, Fort Stewart, Georgia.

MSG Robinson served two tours in Southwest Asia, one tour in Iraq, and CONUS mobilization at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois.

His military education include: Operational Contract Support Course, Distributed Leaders Course V, Battle Staff Course, Senior Leadership Course, Basic Leadership Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Commanders Safety Course, Army operations security program manager course, Environmental Protection Agency Certification in refrigerant recovery and recycle course, Certification for processing Chlorofluorocarbon and halon refrigerants course, Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic School.

His civilian education include: University of Arizona Global Campus, Clayton State College, and Atlanta Technical College.

His military awards and decorations include: the Meritorious Service Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (3rd Award), the Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), the Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (1st Award), the National Defense Service Medal w/ Bronze Service Star, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal (w/“M” device), the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, the Army Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Iraq Campaign medal.
