Mr. Lawrence W. Fuller

Deputy to the Commander

Lawrence (Larry) W. Fuller assumed the duties as deputy to the commander of the 403rd Army Field Support Brigade July 10,  2017. His previous position was with LogiCore Corporation as a senior logistics analyst supporting the deputy chief of staff G 3/4, Headquarters, U.S. Army Materiel Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Upon completion of the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, he was assigned to the 197th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized)(Separate), Fort Benning, Georgia, where he served as support platoon leader, shop officer, battalion maintenance officer, and class IX accountable/materiel officer. Next, Fuller was assigned to numerous positions in Germany to include maintenance officer, battalion S4, and support operations Officer, 202nd Forward Support Battalion, 8th Infantry Division; commander, B Company, 125th Forward Support Battalion, 1st Armored Division. He next served as chief, Brigade Materiel Management Center, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Washington; chief, logistics branch and operations officer, Readiness Group, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida; and materiel readiness officer, Assistant Chief of Staff, G4 2nd Infantry Division, Korea. From 1998 until military retirement in 2016, he served in the following positions: chief, supply division and chief, Equipment Readiness Division, 4th Corps Materiel Management Center, 13th Corps Support Command, Fort Hood, Texas; support operations officer and battalion executive officer, 704th Division Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Division (Mech), Fort Hood, Texas; deputy G4 and deputy chief, Support Operations Division, ACofS, G4, Eighth U.S. Army, Korea; commander, Army Field Support Battalion-Kuwait, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; logistics colonels human resources manager, Colonels Management Office, Senior Leader Development, Rosslyn, Virginia; and chief, Contingency Operations Division, deputy chief of staff, Army G-4. From March 2010 to July 2011, he commanded the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade, Joint Base Balad, Iraq; followed by chief, plans and operations, ACofS, G-3/4, HQ, AMC. His final assignment on active duty was chief of staff, U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Fuller’s military education includes: Ordnance Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Support Operations Course, Air Command and Staff College, the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and the Senior Leaders Seminar. He earned a Master’s degree in military operational art and science from Air University, and a Master’s degree in national resource strategy from National Defense University.

Fuller graduated from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science in December 1985. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Ordnance Corps, receiving honors as a Distinguished Military Graduate. He also earned a Master of Arts in information systems management from Webster University.

Fuller’s military decorations and awards include two Legions Of Merit, the Bronze Star, six Meritorious Service Medals, four Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Medal, the Parachutist Badge and Army Staff Identification Badge, and the Ordnance Order of Samuel Sharpe.

Fuller is a native of Jackson, Alabama, and is married.
