Senior Enlisted Advisor

Master Sergeant Roger Hamilton Jr. assumed duties as the senior enlisted advisor of the 401st Army Field Support Battalion-Kuwait in February 2022.

MSG Hamilton enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve in January 1992. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia, where he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty, Material Storage and Handling Specialist (76V).

His duty assignments include: Logistics Task Force noncommissioned officer in charge for AFSBn-Afghanistan, Salerno, Afghanistan; 2nd Battalion (Training Support) (Combat Support/Combat Service Support), 347th Regiment, first sergeant, Fort Gordon, Georgia; Logistics Task Force NCOIC for 401st AFSBn- Afghanistan, Ghazni, Afghanistan; In 2014, he deployed with the U.S. Army Central Army Reserve Affairs, U.S. Army Reserve Command G4 Reset Redeployment Asset Visibility Team NCOIC, Camp Buehring, Kuwait; first sergeant, Warrior Transition Battalion, Fort Lewis, Washington; Operations NCO, Army Reserve Sustainment Command, Birmingham Alabama; Operations NCOIC, AFSBn-Qatar, Doha Qatar; G-3/5/7 NCOIC, ARSC.

MSG Hamilton’s military education includes: Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Master Fitness Training Course, Cargo Specialist Course, Motor Transport Course, AMC Affiliation Training Course, Commanders Safety Course, Commander Team Leadership Course, Supervisor’s Safety Course, Laser Marksmanship Training Course, Combat Lifesaver Course, WTU Staff Training Course, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Contracting Officer’s Representative Course, Distributed Leader Course V.

He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice administration.
