SGM Carla R. Stancil assumed the duties as the senior enlisted advisor of the Army Field Support Battalion- Bliss August 2021.
She enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 2000 as a unit supply specialist. She attended basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and advanced individual training
at Fort Lee, Virginia.
SGM Stancil’s previous assignments include Headquarters and Headquarters Company 1-210th Aviation Battalion, Fort Rucker, Alabama; 552nd Signal Company, Camp Red Cloud, Korea; 2nd Recruiting Brigade, Fort Gillem, Georgia; HHC, 204th Battalion and 4th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas; Alpha, Echo, and Foxtrot Companies, 2/39 Infantry Battalion, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1-73rd Calvary Squadron and HHC, 407th Brigade Support Battalion; Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment and HHC, 174th Infantry Brigade, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey; HHD, 1st Special Forces Group (A) Group Support Battalion, Joint Base Lewis-McGuire, Washington; and U.S. Army Human Resources Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky. She has deployed in support of combat operations to Iraq.
