Sergeant Major Anthony Gomez assumed duties as the senior enlisted advisor of the Army Field Support Battalion-Carson August 2021.
He enlisted into the U.S. Army in August 2000 as an automated logistical specialist. He completed basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and advanced individual training at Fort Lee, Virginia.

He has also completed the SHARP Certification Course, the Battle Staff NCO Course, the Operational Contracting Support Course, the Training and Education Middle Manager’s Course, the Common Faculty Development – Developer and Instructor Courses, the Total Army Instructor Training Course, the Small Group Instructor Training Course, and the Observer/Coach Trainer Academy.
SGM Gomez has an associate degree in distribution operations management from Coastline College, a bachelor’s degree in applied management from Franklin University, a master’s degree in administration and organization development from the University of the Incarnate Word, and an education specialist degree from Liberty University. He has also earned a demonstrated master logistician credential and has a standard adult education teaching license.
