Army Sustainment Command (ASC) provides globally responsive strategic logistics capabilities and materiel readiness to enable Combatant Commanders to conduct the full range of military operations. ASC is the Army Materiel Command's (AMC) single face to the field and synchronizes and executes logistics. ASC is the Army materiel enterprise’s decisive edge generating sustainment readiness from the strategic support area to the tactical point of need.

 

In the ever-evolving world of information technology, U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s Information Management, or G6, directorate stands out as a driving force behind technological innovation and efficiency. With nearly two decades of experience supporting ASC, Terry Johnston, an IT specialist in the Enterprise Operations Division, has played a pivotal role in enhancing the command’s IT capabilities.
As we kick off the year commemorating the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the United States Army, we’ll reflect on the rich legacy of service, highlighting events that marked periods in our great history. As with most major events in history, the start of the American Revolution can be traced back years before the shooting conflict began.
Nearly one-third of military recruits have a close family relative who is in the military or is a veteran. But serving the country comes in more forms than just serving in uniform, and that service can have just as much of an impact on family members.

As the main integrator for the 405th Army Field Support Brigade and U.S. Army Sustainment Command South of the Alps, the Logistics Support Team-Africa is responsible for providing support to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa as well as joint forces across the continent.
In quick succession, Hurricanes Helene and Milton pummeled the southeastern U.S., leaving a trail of devastation. The 406th Army Field Support Brigade stepped up to support local communities and Army installations that had been ravaged by the storms.
Army Prepositioned Stocks is a game changer in terms of maintaining Army readiness, projecting resolve, and deterrence to adversaries.
U.S. Army Sustainment Command has embraced the transformative power of wearable health and performance devices by launching a program aimed at providing Soldiers with smart watches and rings to enable them to better monitor their health data. This program is in line with the command’s commitment to holistic health and fitness.
As Thanksgiving nears, while most are still dreaming of turkey and stuffing, workers at Army dining facilities – known as warrior restaurants – work tirelessly to make those visions a reality for Soldiers stationed around the world. For these culinary teams, Thanksgiving is about more than just a meal; it’s an opportunity to serve Soldiers a taste of home and a sense of belonging. ASC oversees around 185 warrior restaurants.
