Mr. Lynn’s professional career has spanned over 18 years of service as a Department of the Army civilian. He entered federal civilian service in September 2002.
Mr. Lynn’s permanent assignments include brigade set equipment manager for Army Prepositioned Stock-4, Combat Equipment Base-Northeast Asia, Waegwan, Korea; Logistics Assistance Program Directorate, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois; logistics management specialist, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Brigade Logistics Support Team, Vilseck, Germany; support operations officer, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), Texas; 405th AFSB deputy SPO and future operations chief, Kaiserslautern, Germany; cell chief, Network Integration Evaluation, Fort Bliss, Texas.
Mr. Lynn’s deployment assignments include APS operations officer, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; Joint Logistic Support Element chief, Al Taqaddum Air Force Base, Iraq; 402nd AFSB S3, Balad, Iraq; 18th Airborne Corps LMS, Balad, Iraq; Logistical Support Element chief U.S. Army North, Bagram, Afghanistan; 3rd Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division SBCT LMS, Baghdad International Airport , Iraq; 2nd CR SBCT BLST chief, BIAP, Iraq; and LSE chief U.S. Army South, Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Mr. Lynn’s civilian awards include four Superior Civilian Service Awards, eight Commander's Awards for Civilian Service, two Achievement Medals for Civilian Service and The Secretary of Defense Medal for the Global War on Terrorism.
Mr. Lynn is married and has three children.
