Sergeant Major Jeremy White assumed responsibility of the Army Field Support Battalion-Stewart on Aug. 25, 2021.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army Jan. 23, 2003, as an automated logistical specialist (92A). He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advance Individual Training at Fort Gregg-Adams (formerly Fort Lee), Virginia.

SGM White’s assignments include: material storage/holding specialist, 13th Maintenance Company, Fort Bliss, Texas; equipment receiving parts specialist, 702nd Main Support Battalion, Camp Castle, South Korea; equipment and parts noncommissioned officer, 92nd Chemical Company, Fort Stewart, Georgia; recruiter, Charlotte Recruiting Company, Charlotte, North Carolina; platoon sergeant, 412th Aviation Support Battalion, Ansbach, Germany; operations sergeant, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Grafenwohr, Germany; first sergeant, Headquarter and Headquarters Company and Alpha Distribution Company, 277th Aviation Support Battalion, Fort Drum, New York; quartermaster ALC/SLC Branch Chief for the Logistical NCO Academy, Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia.

SGW White has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

His military education include: Army Recruiting School, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, SHARP Course, Warehouse Operations Management Course. He has completed all levels of the NCO Education System and is a graduate the NCO Center of Excellence Sergeant Major Course, Class 71.

SGM White has an associate degree from Ashworth College in business management, and a Bachelor of Science in business management from Post University. He also has a master’s degree in business administration from American Public University.

SGM White’s award and decorations include: two Meritorious Service Medals, four Army Commendation Medals, five Army Achievement Medals, seven Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Ribbon (Numeral 4), and the Recruiter Badge.

SGM White is a native of Saint Petersburg, Florida. He is married and has three children.
