MG Steven A. Shapiro

Commanding General

Major General Steven A. Shapiro assumed command of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command Aug. 29, 2019.  Prior to that, MG Shapiro had been commanding general of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command since June 2017.  He entered the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer on May 24, 1985 at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Ordnance Corps.  His military education includes the Ordnance Officer Basic and Advanced Course, Army Command and General Staff College, and Army War College.
