Army Sustainment Command (ASC) provides globally responsive strategic logistics capabilities and materiel readiness to enable Combatant Commanders to conduct the full range of military operations. ASC is the Army Materiel Command's (AMC) single face to the field and synchronizes and executes logistics. ASC is the Army materiel enterprise’s decisive edge generating sustainment readiness from the strategic support area to the tactical point of need.

An Army Food Program assessment team consisting of representatives from the Army Center of Excellence, Subsistence; U.S. Army Materiel Command; and, the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, conducted a recent site visit to multiple warrior restaurants in Baumholder and Kaiserslautern, Germany.
The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, has produced alumni that have distinguished themselves in a variety of careers, including politics, professional athletics, best-selling authors, and business. However, it is in military service, that The Citadel has distinguished itself the most.
Members of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, G4 (Logistics), Readiness Division traveled to Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, to inspect the command supply discipline program and the command maintenance discipline program at the installation’s Logistics Readiness Center Jan. 29 to Feb. 2.
The sustainment symposium, held at Fort Cavazos, Texas, featured three guest speakers -- Maj. Gen. David Wilson, U.S. Army Sustainment Command commanding general, Dan Reilly, deputy to the ASC commanding general, and retired Maj. Gen. Aundre Piggee, former deputy chief of staff of the Army for logistics, who discussed many topics including ASC lines of efforts and division sustainment synchronization.

When Chief Warrant Officer 2 Deangello Wiggins was growing up in Virginia, he knew he wanted more from life. In high school, he had the opportunity to talk to an Army recruiter who told him about the benefits the Army offered. Wiggins was excited for the opportunity to leave his hometown and serve his country, and the next thing he knew, he was off to Basic Combat Training, a ten-week introduction to the U.S. Army required of all new enlisted Soldiers.
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – It’s the season of New Year’s resolutions, health goals and more – and the newest Transformation Tuesday series “Your Guide to Lifestyle Change,” aims to assist in making those goals a reality.
Safety officers and leadership from across the Army Field Support Battalion-Cavazos came together Dec. 15, 2023, to celebrate being recertified as a Star participant in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, known as OSHA, Voluntary Protection Program, or VPP.
