Getting assigned to Army Sustainment Command Headquarters?  Allow us to be the first to welcome you to Rock Island Arsenal!  

Rock Island Arsenal is a small 946-acre island situated in the middle of the Mississippi River in the Quad City metropolitan area. It straddles the border between Iowa and Illinois and has a workforce of around 6,500 Soldiers, Contractors, and DA Civilians.

Numerous organizations call Rock Island Arsenal home. These include First Army, Joint Munitions Command, Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center - Rock Island, the Rock Island District Corps of Engineers, and so many more.

Visit the Rock Island Arsenal

The Rock Island Arsenal is an active military installation in Illinois. A valid Visitor’s Pass is required to gain entry. Visitors undergo a brief background check, and a standard pass is typically valid for one year from issuance.

23 Prospect Drive, Moline, Illinois

Visitor Access & Control Center Hours, Daily: 7 am to 3 pm

Moline Gate is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Rock Island Gate is open Weekdays 5:30 am to 10:30 pm and Weekends 8 am to 9 pm

Rock Island Gate is closed on Federal Holidays except Memorial and Veteran's Day
