Colonel Roderick J. Page assumed the duties as commander, U.S. Army Sustainment Command-Army Reserve Element in May 2023.

COL Page was the U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) defense coordinating officer for the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region IV located in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the Department of Defense’s senior representative for coordinating federal military support to civilian government officials for the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

COL Page began his military career over 30 years ago when he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1989. He completed his Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri’s U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence. His Advanced Individual Training for the 76C military occupational specialty (equipment records and parts specialist) was completed at Fort Lee, Virginia’s U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command/Sustainment Center of Excellence. He was then commissioned as a second lieutenant in June 1996; first lieutenant in May 1998; captain in March 2002; major in July 2008; lieutenant colonel in March 2014; and colonel in January 2021.

He has attended several military schools, which include Command and General Staff College, Intermediate Level Education, Combined Arms Exercise Course, Quartermaster Officer Advanced Course, Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, and Basic Airborne Course.

COL Page's reserve duty assignments include platoon leader at the 587th Service Company (Collections and Classifications), Forest Park, Georgia; commander of the 421st Quartermaster Company Light Airdrop Support, Fort Valley, Georgia; company executive officer of the 421st Quartermaster Company (LAS), Fort Valley; engineering officer of the 802nd Quartermaster Company (Force Provider), Columbus, Georgia; commander, 587th Service Company (C&C), Forest Park; commander of the 206th Transportation Company (Cargo Transfer), Opelika, Alabama; battalion executive officer of the 828th Transportation Battalion, Livingston, Alabama; plans and operations officer of the Army Reserve Sustainment Command, U.S. Army Materiel Command, Army Reserve Element Detachment 10, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; commander of the 1181st Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion, Meridian, Mississippi, and G3/7 planning officer of the Deployment Support Command. His active-duty assignments include platoon leader, housing officer, assistant master planner, Karshi-Khanabad, Uzbekistan; company executive officer, engineering officer, Camp Arifjan Kuwait/Baghdad Iraq; company commander Contingency Operating Base Adder, Tallil, Iraq; chief, Plans, Operations and Information Technology Branch, U.S. Army Reserve Command; and G3/7 planning officer of the Deployment Support Command.

COL Page's decorations and medals include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, two Army Achievement Medals, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal and Mobilization Iraq Campaign Medal Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Component Overseas Training, and North Atlantic Treaty Organization Medal.

COL Page received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Albany State University and is currently employed as a senior operations analyst at Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia.
