Master Sergeant Christopher L. Jackson assumed duties as the Senior Enlisted Advisor of the Army Field Support Battalion-Kuwait in May 2024.

He most recently served as first sergeant for the Headquarters & Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan.

MSG Jackson enlisted in the Army in September 2004. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gregg-Adams (formerly Fort Lee), Virginia. He was awarded the military occupational specialty of automated logistical specialist (92A).

MSG Jackson’s previous assignments include Alpha Company, 209th Aviation Support Battalion, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii; Alpha Company, 88th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Fort Johnson (formerly Fort Polk), Louisiana; Wightman NCO Academy, Eighth Army, Uijeongbu, South Korea; Supply and Transportation Troop, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California; Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 39th Infantry Regiment, 165th Support Brigade, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; and Intelligence & Sustainment Company, Higher Headquarters Battalion, G4 (Logistics), Eighth Army, Camp Humphreys, South Korea.

He deployed to Tikrit, Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom from June 2006 – September 2007.

MSG Jackson’s military education includes the Action Officers Logistics Course, Logistic Modernization Program Course, Master Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Basic Leaders Course, Drill Sergeant School, Support Operations II, Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Prevention Course, Army Basic Instructor Course and Master Resiliency Course.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in leadership studies from Oral Roberts University and is currently working towards his Master of Science in organizational leadership, same university.

His decorations and awards include two Meritorious Service Medals, seven Army Commendation Medals, seven Army Achievement Medals, six Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medals, Iraq Campaign Medals with two combat stars, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, four Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbons, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, and Driver and Mechanic Badge.

MSG Jackson is a demonstrated master logistician and a member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

A native of Houston, Texas, MSG Jackson has four daughters and one son.
