CSM TaJuana S. Nixon

Command Sergeant Major, 403rd Army Field Support Brigade


Command Sgt. Maj. TaJuana S. Nixon assumed the duties as command sergeant major of the 403rd Army Field Support Brigade at Camp Henry, South Korea, on July 18, 2025.

CSM Nixon’s previous assignment was Army Garrison Okinawa, Japan, where she served as garrison command sergeant major.

CSM Nixon enlisted in the Army in January 2000 as a unit supply specialist and completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Her previous assignments include: 703rd Main Support Battalion, Fort Stewart, Georgia; 516th Signal Brigade, Fort Shafter, Hawaii; 704th Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Carson, Colorado; Logistics Readiness Center-North; Camp Red Cloud, South Korea; 299th Brigade Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson; Forward Support Company J, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, Fort Carson; 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson; Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Installation Management Command, Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas; 30th Medical Brigade, Sembach, Germany.

CSM Nixon has participated in multiple combat operations and humanitarian missions throughout her 25 years of service.

Her military education includes all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System from the Warrior Leader Course through the Sergeants Major Academy; Company Commander-First Sergeants Pre-Command Course; Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Course; Master Resilience Training Course; Basic Instructor Course; Equal Opportunity Course, Garrison Pre-Command Course, Brigade and Battalion PreCommand Courses.

CSM Nixon is a graduate of Colorado Technical University with a Master of Business Administration in operations and supply chain management. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in human resource development and an associate degree in finance from Hawaii Pacific University.

CSM Nixon’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, six Meritorious Service Medals, five Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medal, eight Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (fifth Award); Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon (fifth award), NATO Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Superior Unit Award, Combat Action Badge and Driver’s Badge. She is a recipient of the Order of Saint Martin (Distinguished) and the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara. She is also a recipient of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Award and the Major General Aubrey “Red” Newman Leadership Award.
