Mission
Prior to 2002, Army Materiel Command (AMC) presence was known as the Logistics Assistance Office (LAO) at Fort Lewis; it was later re-organized and re-designated the Logistics Support Element (LSE) -Fort Lewis, Washington, as a subordinate organization of Army Sustainment Command.
