MSG Larche joined the U.S. Army in August 2002. He attended Basic Training at Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning), Georgia, and Advance Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, as a light wheeled vehicle mechanic (63B).

MSG Larches’ duty assignments include wheeled vehicle mechanic and team leader, 2nd Squadron, 21st Cavalry Brigade, Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), Texas; senior wheeled vehicle mechanic and squad leader, Bravo Company, 141st Signal Company, 589th Signal Company, Germany, Forward Support Company 62nd Engineer Battalion, Fort Cavazos; battalion motor sergeant, Forward Support Company, 2-27th Infantry Battalion, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; motor sergeant and platoon sergeant/ first sergeant, Fox Company, 1st Aviation Regiment, Fort Riley, Kansas; and instructor/writer/training developer and division noncommissioned officer in charge, Logistics and Materiel Readiness Directorate, Combined Arms Support Command, sexual assault response coordinator, Army Logistics University, Fort Gregg-Adams (formerly Fort Lee), Virginia.

MSG Larche deployed to Iraq from 2002-2003 and again in 2008-2009 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Afghanistan, from 2011-2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan, and to Iraq 2015 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

MSG Larches’ military education includes: Army Maintenance Managers Course; Support Operations Course, Contracting Officer Course, SHARP Foundation Course and Career Course. He has completed all Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development System courses through Master Leaders Course.

His civilian education includes an associate degree in general studies, a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in logistics, and a master’s degree in business with a concentration in project management from Saint Leo University.

MSG Larches’ military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, seven Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, Valorous Unit Award, Navy Unit Commendation Medal, five Meritorious Unit Commendations, Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), Humanitarian Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 Campaign Stars), Iraq Campaign Medal (4 Campaign Stars), Inherit Resolve Campaign Medal (2 Campaign Stars), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 4), Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 6), NATO Medal, Drivers Mechanic Badge, and the Drivers Wheeled Badge. He is a recipient of the Ordnance Order of Samuel Sharpe.
