Mr. Brian S. Connie is the deputy to the commander of the Army Field Support Battalion-Stewart at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
His previous position was director for Supply and Transportation, U.S. Army Materiel Support Command-Korea.
Mr. Connie’s career has spanned over 43 years as an Army noncommissioned officer and as an Army Civilian employee.
Mr. Connie’s key active duty assignments include Support Operations sergeant Major, 501st Corps Support Group, South Korea; command sergeant major, 10th Sustainment Brigade Troops Battalion, Fort Drum, New York; command sergeant major, 10th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Drum; and his final assignment in unform was as command sergeant major, 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Daegu, South Korea.
He is a graduate of the Master Logistician Program and Level III certified in Life Cycle Logistics from the Defense Acquisition University.
His civilian education includes a Master of Business Administration from Touro University International College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker University.
Mr. Connie’s awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Civilian Service Medal, Civilian Service Commendation Medal, and he has been recognized as a Distinguished Member of the Quartermaster Regiment.
Mr. Connie is from Flint, Michigan. He is married and has three children.
